Emotions Video

Great to use with children who have difficulty understanding their own emotions and emotions of others (e.g., children with high functioning autism)

  1. I think it is terrific to provide parents and caregivers with information like this using the video format. Parents coming into the district who are used to different services could also learn from your blog and videos. I bet you could also find videos for your students to practice articulation or other speech related lessons that parents could use in the home as well. This is such a powerful tool, one that I had not considered before. Great job!

  2. Emily - I couldn't get the video to play/work but I will be checking back as I am very interesting in seeing what you posted.

Emotions are such a challenge to teach and explain. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Great post. I wanted to see the whole interview about Egyptian hand signs...
This is a great perspective as I look at the autistic kids who come to me on different levels of the spectrum, but all show emotion.
